Senshi Rangers Zeolite

Part Two

Mamoru slowly woke up to find that his surroundings were quite different. "Not again," he muttered, looking at the full Earth below him.
"Ah, so you are awake, Prince Endymion," a low voice said.
"Who are you, and what are you after?" Mamoru asked, slightly annoyed.
The figure stepped into the thin light. "I believe you know me," Jadeite replied. "As for what I want...revenge. Revenge against the Senshi for trapping me in that damned eternal sleep!"
"You did that to yourself, Jadeite," Mamoru reminded him. "You were over-confident."
Jadeite whirled on Mamoru. "Quiet! Soon, your precious princess and her followers will come after you, and I shall have my revenge!"

"Where's Mamo-chan?" Sailor Moon repeated, looking around the park. "He was just here!"
"Sailor Moon, we'll find him!" Mercury reassured her. "Right now, we have to get Venus, Mars and Jupiter to a hospital." Mercury's words rang through Sailor Moon's panic. Sailor Moon knelt beside Mars.
"Rei-chan, don't worry. We'll get you to a hospital in time."
The red-clad figure stepped forward. "We'll take the girls to Angel Grove General. They won't ask too many questions there."
"Just a minute," Mercury told him. She looked at the three fallen Senshi, then back at the mysterious figures. "Turn your backs."
    "What?" the green-clad one asked.
"Just turn your backs!" Sailor Moon cried. The figures looked at each other, shrugged, and turned around. Within minutes, the three fallen Senshi had retroformed to their normal identities. "You can turn around now. The return transformation is done."
The red figure, the green figure and the blue figure each picked up a fallen Senshi. "We'll make sure your friends get taken care of."

"Zordon, who were those girls?" Rocky asked after the Power Rangers had taken the girls to the hospital.
"Those were the Inner Senshi," Zordon replied. "They are the reincarnated spirits of the solar princesses from a millennia ago."
The Rangers exchanged skeptical glances. "You're joking, right? Solar princesses?" Tanya asked.
"I am serious. Each Senshi was a princess on her home planet." Zordon then outlined the history of the Moon Kingdom, ending with how it was destroyed. "These girls are the reincarnated souls of those ancient princesses."
"How come we've never heard of them before?" Tommy asked.
Adam looked up. "We have. Remember your brother's pen pal from Tokyo?"
"Oh yeah, he did say something about sailor-suited soldiers. I just didn't think he was serious."
"It would seem that Mondo now knows about the Senshi. You can count on him increasing his attacks."

Usagi and Ami quietly opened the door to the hospital room and entered. Minako, Makoto and Rei slept quietly on their hospital beds, bandages covering them.
"They look so fragile," Usagi whispered to Ami.
"I heard that," Rei muttered. She struggled to sit up, soon followed by the other two. "Have you figured out what that thing in the park was, or who those people were?"
"Nothing yet," Ami admitted. "I've been running a scan, but so far, it's inconclusive. I wish Luna was here; she might know something about that creature."
"That was a strange creature," Makoto added. "It was made of metal, not like the other youma we've fought."
Minako looked around the bland hospital room. "This place is too beige," she commented.
The others looked at her, sweat drops forming on their foreheads. "Minako-chan," Makoto began, "this is a hospital. It's supposed to be beige."
"Oh." The others just looked at her before continuing their commentary on the monster.

Jadeite paced the asteroid, planning his revenge. Mamoru just watched him. He seems so different, more bitter, he thought. I suppose being plunged into eternal sleep could do that. It's a shame. I remember him as much more.
Something passing overhead made him stop his train of thought. It was a small craft of some type, piloted by a mechanical man. Mamoru grinned; he'd just found his way off this asteroid.
While Jadeite wasn't looking, Mamoru transformed into Tuxedo Kamen. As another craft passed overhead, he leapt, landing on top of the craft. Using his cane as a prybar, he opened the cockpit.
The mechanical man turned, sensing the intruder. Tuxedo Kamen used a well-placed rose to incapacitate the robot, tossing it back onto the asteroid. Closing the cockpit, Tuxedo Kamen piloted his way back to Angel Grove.
The loud crash of the mechanical man landing on the asteroid was the first sign Jadeite had of his prisoner's escape. He was preparing to moan his loss when a sign on the mechanical man caught Jadeite's eye.
"Property of Machine Empire," Jadeite read aloud from the sign. A slow smile split his face. "King Mondo," he mused, his eye turning to the moon.

Rocky looked at Tommy and the others. "Do you guys get what Zordon told us earlier?" he asked.
"About those solar princesses?" Adam said. "I don't know. I mean, if a few years ago you'd told me about a group of teenagers who transform to fight evil, I'd have said you were full of it."
"Adam's right," Tanya added. "I mean, who are we to say something's not possible?"
They continued to discuss the situation, unaware of the two girls who entered the juice bar. "Usagi-chan," the blue-haired girl was saying, "I know how upset you are, but you have to eat." A look of surprise passed on her face. Imagine, me having to remind Usagi to eat! she mused. "We'll find Mamoru-kun. We always do."
"Ami-chan, what if he's in trouble?" Usagi, the girl with long blonde pigtails was worrying. "We have to find him."
"We will. Or, he'll find us. Remember, Usagi-chan, he's been in America for almost a year now. I'm sure he knows what he's doing."

"So, King Mondo, what do you think of my plan?" Jadeite finished up. It hadn't taken him long to discover the whereabouts of his former ally.
"I'm not sure, General Jadeite. My wife and I have taken care of three Senshi on our own," Mondo replied. "Still, your plan has merit. I'm sure it could work, except for one factor."
    "What's that?"
    "The Power Rangers."
"The Power Rangers?" Jadeite asked incredulously. "Zordon is still on Earth after all this time?"
"Unfortunately, yes. He and his Power Rangers have been causing me no end of grief. However, with your youma, perhaps we can take out a few of them."
"Perhaps...." Jadeite concentrated. "Youma Lokiana, arise!" he called out.
A young woman clad in a bikini and heeled boots with green hair in five pigtails arose from the floor. "You summoned me, Master Jadeite?" she spoke in a husky drawl, her orange eyes downcast.
"Yes, Lokiana. Find the Power Rangers and absorb their energy."
"Yes, Master Jadeite!" She leapt from the Machine Base, headed for Earth.

Mamoru landed the strange craft in Angel Grove Park near where the battle had been. The girls were nowhere to be found. He ran to the closest path and asked a passerby where the nearest restaurant was.
"Oh, that'd be Ernie's Juice Bar," the man replied. "All the Angel Grove kids hang out there."
"Thank you, sir." Mamoru found his way to the Juice Bar, and sure enough, Usagi and Ami were in there, Ami attempting to coax Usagi into eating a cheeseburger.
"Usako," he said, pulling on her pigtail as he sat down next to her.
"Mamochan!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around him. "You're all right! What happened? I was so worried!"
"Usako," he said again, his face serious, "Jadeite is back."
"What?" Ami and Usagi exclaimed in unison.
"I thought we took care of him four years ago!" Ami exclaimed.
"He was put into eternal sleep," Mamoru explained. "My theory is that when Sailor Moon defeated Beryl and Metallia, the spell began to weaken. Eventually, it was weak enough to allow him to break free. He found his way back to Earth and wants revenge. That's why he kidnapped me."
"Did he send that youma?" Ami asked.
"No, he didn't. I don't know who did, though, so we have more problems that just Jadeite." He looked around. "Where are the others?"
"They're in the hospital," Ami told him. "They were injured in the battle. We were lucky. Some people in strange armor helped us defeat the youma."
    "Strange armor?" Mamoru asked.
    "Yes, like bodysuits, but stronger."
"They looked like the sentai teams on TV," Usagi added.
"Let's just hope that if we run into trouble again, they'll be there to help."

Kat and Rocky met in the park. "Are you sure he didn't see you leave?" Kat asked.
"I'm sure. I think he's getting suspicious, though. Ernie told him about yesterday, when you were looking for me," Rocky replied.
"Well, his birthday's only a few more days away. Then, we'll be done with all the secrecy. Did you get the catering prices?" Rocky and Kat settled in to plan Tommy's surprise birthday party.
Unknown to them, Lokiana was watching them. "Master Jadeite will be pleased," she murmured. "Two Power Rangers with one shot!" With a shimmer, she disguised herself as a tourist.
"Excuse me?" she asked Rocky and Kat. "Could you point me towards the Power Ranger monument?"
"Oh, sure. It's over that way, about half a mile. You like the Power Rangers?" Rocky asked.
"Oh yes. I guess you could say I have a real taste for them!" she screeched, dropping the disguise and grabbing Rocky by the neck. He began to slump as his energy was drained.
"Rocky!" Kat screamed, activating her Zeonizers.
Lokiana let Rocky fall to the ground as she turned to Kat. "Oh no, little Pink! I'm not going to let you transform so easily!" She grabbed Kat by the hair, turning Kat to face her. "Now for your energy!"

In the Juice Bar, Usagi sat upright. "What is it?" Ami asked.
"Ami-chan, use your computer! I felt something evil," Usagi explained. Mamoru held Usagi's hand as Ami punched up the search program on her palmtop.
"You were right, Usagi! There's a youma in the park! The energy signal looks like one of Jadeite's," Ami told them.
"We'd better go," Usagi said. The three rose and left the juice bar.
On the other side of the juice bar, three watch alarms went off. Tommy looked around. "What is it, Zordon?" he asked after checking to make sure the coast was clear.
"Rocky and Kat have been attacked. Morph and get to the park as soon as possible," Zordon told them.
"On our way. Tommy out." He closed off communications. "Guys, it's morphin time!"

Lokiana was draining the last of Kat's energy as the Rangers, the Senshi, and Tuxedo Kamen appeared in the park. "Ah, what luck!" she exclaimed. "Both groups at once!"
Sailor Moon looked at the fallen Rangers. "You destroy good wherever it is! For that, I won't forgive you! In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!"
The Rangers readied their weapons, firing at the youma. "Sailor Moon!" Tommy exclaimed. "We're the Power Rangers. Do you know who sent this monster?"
"I'm Sailor Mercury," the blue-haired one told them. "This youma was sent by an old enemy of ours, the General Jadeite."
    "What are the weaknesses?"
"Watch!" She closed her eyes and began to spin, slightly off the ground. "Shine Aqua Illusion!" A bolt of blue ice hit the monster, causing it to droop slightly. "Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!" Again the monster drooped. "Your weapons will only give her energy! Sailor Moon, now!"
"Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!" Sailor Moon called out. A blast left her tial, hitting the youma square in the chest.
"Beautiful!" Lokiana screamed as she dissolved into a cloud of dust. Streams of pink and blue energy left the dust, flowing into Rocky and Kat.
The Rangers helped their fallen comrades up. "We need you three to come with us," Tommy said. "Our leader has something he needs to tell you."
Mercury and Moon looked at each other. "All right."

Zordon looked at the remaining three Rangers and two Senshi. "I welcome you, Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Tuxedo Kamen. I remember the Silver Millennium well."
"You do?" Sailor Moon asked in astonishment.
"Yes. I knew Queen Serenity, and was one of her advisors." A panel slid open in the wall and a tray slid out, bearing five stones. "She entrusted these magical stones to me, knowing there would be a time that we would need them."
Ami looked at the stones. "These look like our henshin wands," she remarked.
"Yes, Sailor Mercury. These are henshin stones from the Silver Millennium, forged on Eltare." The stones rose from the tray, each bearing a colored glow. "As both the Senshi and the Rangers are fighting with weakened teams, I am suggesting a melding of the teams. Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, you know of the Moon Kingdom's enemies. Rangers, you know of our enemies. As the enemies have joined forces, so must you. Use these stones to become the Senshi Rangers Zeolite." A stone floated to each of the remaining warriors.
Sailor Moon accepted hers. A pink glow flooded through her. She instinctively called out, "Pink Analcime Power, Power Up!" In a blast of pink light and a whirl of ribbons, her fuku changed, turning her into Pink Analcime.
Sailor Mercury accepted hers. A blue glow flooded through her. She instinctively called out "Blue Natrolite Power, Power Up!" In a blast of blue light and a whirl of ribbons, her fuku changed, turning her into Blue Natrolite.
Tanya stepped forward and accepted her stone. She called out, "Yellow Laumontite Power, Power Up!" as the yellow glow filled her. The blast of yellow light and the whirl of ribbons left her standing in a yellow fuku as Yellow Laumontite. "So warm," she whispered, eyes closed.
Adam accepted his stone. A flood of green light filled him as he called out, "Green Chabazite Power, Power Up!" With a blast of green light and a coalescing fog, he was clad in a green general's uniform as Green Chabazite.
Tommy finally accepted his stone. The red glow filled him, making him feel like he would explode. "Red Heulandite Power, Power Up!" he called out. The blast of red light was nearly blinding as Tommy transformed into Red Heulandite.
Tuxedo Kamen watched this, wondering why he didn't receive a power-up. Alpha brought something to him. "Tuxedo Kamen," the little robot said. "The late queen left this for you." Tuxedo Kamen accepted the sword in the worn leather scabbard. Instantly, his tuxedo was replaced with black armor as he became Prince Endymion. "This sword was the sword of your father," Alpha told him. "Its name is Excalibur."
"Excalibur," Endymion repeated, gazing at the length of steel. "Thank you, Alpha."
"Now, Rangers, you must work together to defeat the new threat. Mondo and Jadeite will not hold off for long."
